Ecological Colloquium of the BfG &amp; the PIANC-Seminar<\/em>, which was about bringing ESS experts and adopters together, presenting methods and studies on ESS and exchanging experiences on the application of the ESS approach. Based on the outcome of this meeting, PIANC is going to produce \u201cGuidelines for best practice for water navigation infrastructure\u201d within their \u201cWorking-with-nature program\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>The Emschergenossenschaft also did some networking in the name of DESSIN at a seminar on real time control (RTC) of sewer networks (<em>3. Deutscher<\/em> <em>Kanalnetzbewirtschaftungstag<\/em>) in June 2015 and at the <em>4. Leipziger Gespr\u00e4che zur Wasserrahmenrichtlinie<\/em> in April 2015, which dealt with the implementation of the Water Framework Directive \u2013 where in certain cases also ESS can be taken into consideration.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Members of the Emschergenossenschaft introduced the DESSIN project at a number of meetings, workshops and conferences in Germany during the last few months.
