The European Innovation Partnership on Water &#8211; EIP Water in short &#8211; has taken a central role on the European water innovation landscape, providing a platform for all actors in the field of water and innovation.<\/p>\n<p><!--more Click to read more--><\/p>\n<p>The DESSIN project participated in the session called \u201cEcosystem Services: Market Challenges and Opportunities\u201d. This workshop focused on identifying opportunities offered by EU Initiatives for developing markets for ecosystem services, analyse the challenges that need to be tackled and, provide guidance on how successful connection among the both of them takes place in selected projects.<\/p>\n<p>The attendants of the conference had the opportunity to visit the Drinking Water Treatment Plant of Sant Joan Desp\u00ed (one of the demo sites of DESSIN).
